A repeat of a recent walk but one that is a delight at any time.

Gareth and I (Ann) take a late afternoon stroll up Ling Fell to give the dogs some exercise and enjoy the sunset while Roger is busy at work in Keswick.

Sale Fell catches the late afternoon sun.

Skiddaw and Ullock Pike are the fells to the right.

Broom Fell ahead with Widow's Hause to the right.

Gareth ascending the side of Ling Fell as an aircraft is Heathrow bound above him.

Grisedale Pike and Hopegill Head on the horizon.

Gareth and Harry enjoying each other's company at the trig point.

Gareth helps Bethan on to the trig point which doesn't please Harry !

Now he has it all to himself !!

Late sun and vapour trails.

Bass lake with Binsey beyond and Sale Fell in front.

Fun and frolics.

Gareth and the dogs catch the last of the sun's rays.

The sun sinks towards the Solway Firth.

Almost gone . . . . and so are we !
