The Wedding Party outside the Church

Friday we were invited to the wedding of my nephew Sam to his fiance Lucy.

Father of the groom, my brother Peter, with his wife Mary.

Mary with her daughter Jane and her daughter-in-law far left.

Melissa (Sam's sister) and Ann are to her right.

Sam and Lucy walk down the aisle, now as Husband and Wife.

Sam certainly looks happy, but Lucy turns around to talk to Crispin at the wrong moment for this photographer.

Today's reception was held in the grand Arley Hall itself.

Photos over, we made our way inside for the reception . . . to the delightful sounds of a string quartet.

Lucy's Dad, Noel Partington, delivers the first speech.

Sam responds accordingly . . . " My Wife and I " received a good cheer !

Crispin, his brother and Best Man, also delivered a suitably amusing speech.

The evening festivities continued on . . . to the sounds of live music in the barn.
