A short walk today so it was a trip along Knott Rigg and Ard Crags above Newlands Valley.

Once the Buttermere visitors had been avoided by Ann, and the cement Lorry delivering to Keskadale had been negotiated by John and Jo. the party set off up the fell. A car horn announced the slightly late arrival of Jill and David, who had travelled round from Eskdale, so there was a slight delay while they booted up and joined the small band of fell walkers for todays walk.
