Winter sunrise over Rannerdale Knotts. Whiteless Pike stands out above the Loweswater fields.

Overnight Snow has added to the snow on the tops, and temperatures are still below freezing.

Snow covered Blake and Carling Knott, from the cottage.

A frosty field, with no doubt, frosty sheep. Hen Combe and Gavel behind.

To the east Whiteside earns its name today.

With a slight layer of morning cloud, it stands out against a beautiful clear sky.

Grasmoor stands a rocky sentinel to Gasgill, Hopegill with its full white mantle is behind.

Down in Langthwaite woods, the sun reflects off the water of the Lake,

and Grasmoor stands tall above the weir at Crummock.

Peace and serenity, on a calm wintery day.

Back via Langthwaite Woods, with distant views of the head of Buttermere Valley.

Late afternoon sun with a clear sky, as it starts to turn cold again.

Great Gable through the trees.

standing proud at the head of the valley.
